VWC Ranking

*NB Due to ongoing circumstances, the 2020 Vertical World Circuit^® ranking may undergo changes

The 2020 Vertical World Circuit^® ranking is based on:

Three races award an extra 25% bonus points
The Final Race race awards an extra 50% bonus points

– five best results out of the nine races are counted
– max two races with 25% bonus points

NB: The top three athletes of each race must attend the official podium / prize-giving ceremony at the final race to receive the prize-money.

End of season men’s and women’s VWC prize purse of HKD 110,000 is presented by SHKP: 1st: HKD 32,500, 2nd HKD 14,500, 3rd HKD 8,000 will be awarded at the SHKP Vertical Run for Charity – Race to Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China – December 6, 2020.

VWC individual points system

Each race assigns points based on the men’s/women’s overall categories: 100-88-78-72-68-66-64-62-60-58-56-54-52-50 down to 2 points. The top 20 men and women are ranked.   (In the event of a tie, the best result of the last race in the calendar will be counted).
